Emergency Retraction — So You Can Get Home
Stuck open on a Sunday with a tow ahead of you? Most systems have a manual override — Schwintek mode buttons, hydraulic release valves, crank extensions — but using them wrong can strip the drive. We can talk you through a safe retraction by phone and then fix the root cause at your home or storage lot during the week.
Prevention: most slide failures start as low voltage. Slides draw heavy amps, and running them on a weak battery burns motors and controllers. We check charging health on every slide call.
Seals, Toppers, and Water Damage
Along the Front Range, slide seals bake in UV all summer and stiffen in winter. A cracked bulb seal lets hail-driven rain straight into your walls and floor. We replace wiper and bulb seals, adjust slide sweep, and install or re-fabric slide toppers — cheap insurance against the delamination repairs that follow water intrusion.
